BMD liquid extraction which is made from medical herbs such as Sophora japonica, Angelica sinensis, Houttuynia cordata, studied to be good for Hemorrhoids treatment. We produce BMD liquid extraction, establish basic standards, check quality base on these basic standards. The extraction with basic standards will be collected to study its advantages againts constipation and to produce hard capsules.

The fisrt benifit of BMD liquid extraction is against ex vivo constipation, carried on isolatated rabit’s bowel at different concentraction. The result is that: the frequency increasing and the changes of bowel’s movement at 0,125% and 0,0625% are clearly shown (p<0,001) especially at 0,0625%. When studying BMD liquid extraction’s antagonistic aspect acts against atropin on isolated bowel’s movement of rabit we see that: frequency and amplitude of bowel’s movement rise evidently higher than before (p<0,001) as we use BMD liquid extraction at 0,0625% for the first time. There frequency and amplitude are effected to decrease by atropin lower than before, especially compare with the use of BMD at 0,0625 for the first time (p<0,001). Frequency and amplitude are to increase when using BMD liquid extraction at 0,0625% for the second time higher than using atropin (p<0,001).

The second benefit is to produce hard capsules. We study and establish a formula of hard capsules which includes BMD solid extraction (325mg), calci carbonat (65mg), cassava starch (247mg), magnesi stearat (6,5mg), talc (6,5mg) and a producing process with method of rubbing wet seeds. In addition, basic standard with half complete product in seed type and hard capsules are given in the research. Theses products which have been made, are also checked by applying this basic standard.
